The Flow (Poem)

Karma's lesson learned too late,
In sorrow and in bitter fate,
The weight of choices from the past,
Now crushes down, unable to last.

Once proud, with steps so light and bold,
Ignorant of the toll it would hold,
But now, the bill has come to due,
And every turn, it shines so true.

The web of lies and broken trust,
Now torn and shattered, turned to dust,
What once was given, now taken back,
A cruel reminder of every act.

No solace in the tears I cry,
No peace in the long and weary night,
For every wrong, there must be right,
And karma, oh how it can bite.

So take heed, and learn from me,
The price of greed and vanity,
For what goes around, comes back tenfold,
And karma's debt, must one day be told.
