Why I Chose To Start Writing

I started writing not to improve my writing skills. Trust me I still believe my writing needs a lot of improvement.

The real reason I decided to write was mainly to put my thoughts to paper and because I wanted to start a travel blog about a year ago. I wanted to document my travels, what I was learning through experiencing other cultures aside from what we know from Anthony Bourdain and what we see from documentaries. A blog can also become a line of work for those dedicated to it as it can be monetized, along with creating a location independent life style (Basically a person who can live and work from anywhere in the world as long as you have an internet connection). Writing has also acted as a sort of remedy for me and I oddly have started to enjoy it. I also hear influential people such as Tony Robbins, Gary Vee, Tai Lopez & Mark Cuban, to name a few, consistently say “The first step to anything is to take action”.

Now that I have embarked down this road of “blogging” / “writing” , I’d like to encourage those who are currently not writing, to write. Writing is therapeutic, fun and inspiring.
