Super Bowl Sunday lived up to expectations for one reason. Feeling sluggish the next day. After working so hard the past six months to drop weight, I now realize why I don’t want to go back to old habits. Banking on the 2000 calories I burned during the half, I indulged into a few chips wings and a couple of beers and my body absolutely hated me. What use to be a weekly thing was now the same feeling as a night of boozing.

It’s a good sign that my body is now craving good things and is rejecting the abuse I use to give it. Sleep patterns are a struggle for me as it is with everything going on in my peanut, but add in bad foods and can almost guarantee insomnia.
Today started out sluggish but was fantastic in the end. Yoga was first step in recovery process from half. Although the legs were tight, the session did a world of good. Decided today would be the day to push the limits and spent an hour and forty five minutes on bike at storm spin session. A good 40km tonight should get out all of the lactic acid. This weeks theme will be about pushing the limits.

Should sleep well tonight. As long as mind doesn’t work overtime.
