Devoted to inspiring self-love and spiritual growth, two-time Amazon Best-Selling Author Troy L. Love has spent his life committed to finding unique and attainable ways of helping people achieve peace, happiness, and success within the modern world.

From complicated beginnings to unquenchable altruism, Troy started his journey as a freshman in College landing in a Social Work 101 course just to complete a required credit. Little did he know that it would be the doorway to a lifetime of self-exploration, personal recovery, and leadership development.

Over the following years, Troy would begin his training in addiction recovery at the Gateway Rehabilitation Center, while achieving his Master’s Degree in Social Work from the University of Pittsburgh. After graduating, Troy relocated to Yuma, Arizona, where he worked as a clinical and medical social worker. Ever learning, Troy continued his education by pursuing a Certification from Cornell University, for Human Resource Studies and served for several years as a Leadership Consultant in Medical Care.

However, the universe was unrelenting and the call to help people heal from past hurts pounded in Troy’s chest. Knowing that the tools he’d acquired on his journey could have a greater impact on those struggling prompted him to leave the corporate world and put his vision for building a private practice into reality. In doing so, Troy carved out a model of healing that could naturally be transferred to both individual clients and the corporate world at large.

Fusing a vast and ever-expanding knowledge of the human experience, with unwavering compassion and a thirst for bettering the world as we know it, Troy wrote his first book, Finding Peace, which topped Amazon’s bookselling charts in numerous categories. From there, he launched Finding Peace Consulting, a global enterprise based on his work on healing Attachment Wounds and developing shame resiliency. Troy assists a multitude of clients and corporations while simultaneously serving as President and Clinical Director of Yuma Counseling Services. Now, with over two decades of experience in the Mental Health Field, Troy unites his teachings as Adjunct Professor for Arizona State University with his unwavering passion for exploring and understanding the human condition. He facilitates a plethora of webinars and drop-in groups and hosts the renowned ‘Finding Peace Podcast’ to further build and connect with a growing global audience, and continues to write books, including his highly praised publication, “A Year of Self-Love.” Backed by additional certifications in Sexual Addiction Treatment from Mid-Nazarene University, and Rapid Transformational Therapy, Troy specializes in working with trauma-related concerns, couples struggling in their relationships, and individuals trapped in a cycle of compulsive or addictive behaviors. He also focuses largely on helping couples find deeper connections. His extensive training repertoire includes EMDR, Branspotting, RTT, Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy, and addiction recovery.
