[Guideline] — Zeta Chain TestNet

Zeta Chain has announced their official confirmation of rewards for TestNet users.

WHAT IS ZETA CHAIN?

ZetaChain is the only decentralized blockchain and smart contract platform built for omnichain interoperability. It is designed to be a decentralized cross-blockchain smart contract platform. The vision of Zeta Chain is to be a public computer on all important blockchains, on top of which cross-blockchain decentralized applications can be easily built as public, trustless, and persistent smart contracts.

ZETA CHAIN TESTNET ANNOUNCEMENT

After months of development, Zeta Chain has finally annouced their TestNet phase on 08/10/2022.

All verified users can participate in the Beta-Testing by testing all existing functions and giving feedback to Zeta Team. Airdrop rewards are confirmed to be given to all value contributors.

ZETA CHAIN TESTNET 101

If you are new to cryto, don’t worry, this article will provide you how to participate in Zeta Chain TestNet in detail.

Step 1 — Preparation

➊ Metamask Wallet

Install Metamask wallet from Google Chrome extension store (recommended)

Create a Metamask wallet after installing, write down your wallet secret recovery phase & privatekey so that you will keep your wallet accessible.

➋ Zeta Chain Discord

• Join Zeta Chain Discord here
• Engage with the community and have yourself tuned for upcoming announcements.

➌ Galxe account

• Register an account Galxe at https://galxe.com/
• Connect your Metamask Wallet you have just created as well as your Discord and Twitter.

Step 2 — Action

➊ Swap tokens/Invite friends and Collect ZETA Points

• Go to Zeta Labs on your browser and verify your connection with your Twitter account. 5000 ZETA points will be added to your account after the verification.
• Connect your Metamask Wallet and go to the Leaderboard. Click confirm Wallet to start earning ZETA Points.

➋ Earning ZETA points

There are currently 2 ways to earn more ZETA points

[First way] Perform daily swap on Zeta Labs (1000 points daily by swaping any pair)

[Second way] Invite your friends to join Zeta TestNet campaign, you will earn 5000 ZETA points per successful invitation (find your Invitation link in the lower right part of Leaderboard menu).

➌ Collect testnet tokens

In order to have Testnet token to perform swaps, you need to get Testnet token from various Faucets

• Go to Zeta Faucet channel in ZetaChain Discord and use the command:

Zeta faucet drip [fill in your Metamask Wallet address]

A small amount of testnet token will be sent to your address, some suggestions will show up and you can receive more testnet tokens (once a day).

• Go to Get ZETA to collect 3 ZETA testnet tokens daily.

After a successful swap, go to post your proof on Testnet-feedback channel on ZetaChain Discord

Step 3 — Claim ZETA NFT/OAT on Galxe and receive Discord roles

• Go to Zeta Chain space in Galxe to claim free OAT and NFT by doing all required tasks at https://galxe.com/ZetaChain/campaign/GCatUUwYSY

• After you claimed all existing OAT/NFTs, go to ZETA Guild to receive your Discord roles (Zeta Supporter & Zeta User)

4. Engage with Zeta community

• After you have done all above tasks, you should go to ZetaChain Discord and learn more about the project as well as having more insights from conversations with communities there.
• There will be more upcoming events and Testnet phase is still on going, do not forget to keep yourself updated.
