I shall spell a thing with care
a knuckleheaded thought I spare
I’ve taped it to some underwear
This thought penned now for thee
People dance to common themes
Pretending rare, they’re all just memes
You’ll find it in their Ziner Jeans
Hear not, but only see
They say they care on certain issues
and faucet tears in public tissues
fill birthday cards with all they wish you’s
but sans sincerity
They smile when people break from frowns
They robe themselves in Teddy’s gowns
They seem to know Earth’s ups and downs
but lack all clarity
You’ll find a Bible in their Brary
and them contesting all contrary
Drinking milk from purest dairy
But in the end their bitter
They wear a muffler on their mouth
And swear they love the deepest South
They wash their hands till blood comes out
Yet smell just like a shitter
But you won’t easy find this true
For strong and fancy their perfume
They’ve read each work by David Hume
with eyes that can not spell
But worry not, they know the way
To Heaven’s gate, in Justice Shade
Each Poker hand they’ve always played
But their chips were bought in Hell
But what of you, the reader asks
Your fancy lists and rhyming tasks
Have you not drunk from the same flasks
I admit it, you’ve found the rub
But here’s one think to not discount
While some were climbing up this mount
They spied the clock where time unwoundt
But passed it for the pub
Yea, I did drink from the same ailment
Hung myself on their impalement
But when time came for my derailment
I hollered my heart to God
Now you may think that all convenient
For me to graze on grace so lenient
I’m sure you think I don’t still mean it
But that is something odd
For if a fellow knows he’s cursed
Why would he still ride in that hearse
If there were money in his purse
Why not switch to taxis
And that is simply what I’ve done
Forsook the moon and all it hung
Plugged my ears to the bells they’ve rung
And gulped the Profilaxis
