why travel?

Travelling these days has taken social media by storm. What’s on your bucketlist? Have you ticked them off? Where’s the next destination? For some it is a medium to humble brag (show off their ootds and air of luxurious life with all the blings), for some it is their form of escape, for some it is to heal a broken heart, for some it is to spend irreplacable memories with their loved ones, for some it’s purely business (travel for work, because why not?) different reasons as analogous to the uniqueness of a human person but in simple terms it has been a CURE. A cure to mend that broken heart, a cure to find yourself, a cure to rid yourself of that depression when pills are not effective, a cure to that narcissistic ego (yes, you are #blessed we know that- from all your uploads on social media), a cure to that loneliness, a cure to mend broken ties and strengthen relationships, a cure from plain boredom, a cure to start a new life, new journey, new beginnings, new memories, to see the world in a different perpective, to meet new people, encounter new challenges, have a new zest in life, have a new meaning and purpose. This cure though can be temporary though or if you are lucky it could be permanent.
