As the “White Guy Avatar” mentioned and hotlinked here, I’d just like to kindly point out that I am neither white, nor a guy — the lower half of my face is simply covered in sunlight and peaking, and I am nonbinary (they/them). I understand this may not have been apparent at only 44px and/or through the dot-filter, but the upper half of my face is quite solidly brown, and my haircut is gender-neutral. I understand the point you’re trying to make with this section, but the characterization of this specific example is misrepresentative. Perhaps this makes the point even more valid.
