Thank you for pointing out how silly this is. As a man in tech, I wouldn’t say the work environment looks any more man friendly than woman friendly. The environment is tailored to the job we do. Long gone are the days when pin-ups lined the walls in workplaces — it’d be courting a firing or a lawsuit. All the engineers, scientists, programmers and assemblers I work alongside have pictures of their families in their spaces. Yeah, breakroom chatter is about sports and video games — subjects I am generally out-of-the-loop on, myself — but no one is locked into those conversations. That’s the closest thing I can come up with where the modern tech environment is not “woman friendly.”
