Apple, led by operations clerk Tim Apple has made a big deal about privacy. You might have felt that you didn’t want to grab an Android as in doing so you’d be selling your whole self to Google (and those guys have your search history). You might have closed your Facebook account to stop Mark Zuckerberg from looking through your pictures (or decided to just use social media relevant in 2022).
But you probably didn’t recognize that Apple is building their business on your personal data too while saying that they do the opposite

You’ve seen TV ads and billboards. You probably believed them as this marketing technique has been Apple’s go-to for the last couple of years.
What gives?
An analysis, as reported by Gizmodo refutes through testing that Apple doesn’t tie any analytics to your personal data.
In fact, they claim data including your name, phone number, date of birth, and address are tied to an ID sent to Apple.
