FE coders are a weird bunch. Mood boards and color wheels shouldn’t be in the domain of programming and should be left to art college dropouts in the design department.

When our FE coders start to have moronic arguments about SwiftUI and Jetpack Compose, the temptation is to simply stop listening. The temptation to keep up to date with an FE framework seems such a pedestrian discussion and worse, when the argument goes into which is better territory.

The question should be why are we using these technologies at all?

Another question is why are we using FE developers at all. What do they do?

We have some great developers who don’t want to get left behind when a new technology comes out.

They’re missing the point though. These technologies have their own deficiencies. Let us run through a couple right here.
