Make it easy to do what’s good for you
David Kadavy

I did the exact same process when I found myself constantly opening Facebook or Twitter when I had a moment to spare even though I knew nothing new had happened — the strange part was I still found myself scrolling through the content I had already seen.

I wanted to use that time more wisely, so I have Narwhal (reddit client, used mainly to discover and learn new things), Medium, and Feedly on my home screen instead. These are apps that allow me to grab short form content quickly, something that can be completed within a few minutes.

I walk away learning something new or staying updated to relevant industry news and not what my friends ate for lunch.

Tl;dr — I feel a lot more productive removing Facebook and Twitter from my home screen.
