I have used Dan Brown’s Digital Fortress repeatedly to show how bad a writer he was early on. On every even-numbered page a new character is introduced and then on the next page they are killed off, _after_ having conveniently blabbed the next important clue. It really *is* that bad. The plot can’t bear any inspection and the ‘digital’ aspects are ludicrous. How could you recommend this waste of time? Read a dictionary, it progresses better and you’ll learn something useful from it. Digital? Thumbs down.
