LawChunks

A collection of the latest & best legal developments

I happen to be a law graduate, and completed the LPC at the University of Law recently. Truth be told, the current outlook for graduates is not what you would dream about. As an industry itself, law is seeing huge changes. For me some of these changes have come too late or, have come too late in relation to what is going on around us.

Law aside, I like to get creative through business, ideation, designing, coding and running various projects. One of the things that really annoy me about law sometimes is a lack of creativity. There is much scope to make innovative changes today than ever before.

I’m always trying to find new and innovative services or developments in the legal field. It’s interesting. It’s fun. It’s also a major educator. It’s important to picture the future and follow market trends. New products, services or developments can present new insights and inspire new ideas. I would love to see those within the legal field catching onto these. Better still, collaborating more with creatives to create better solutions.

So this is where LawChunks comes in. I’m assembling an invite-only group of people to share new and interesting products/services or developments in the legal world. A place from which we can do the above and much more.

How it Works

  1. Contributors submit a link to their discovery using Makeshift’s linkydink tool. Submissions can be posted to the LawChunks group or simply emailed to a private email alias.
  2. Once per day, the collection of links are emailed to subscribers with attribution of who made the submission.

Contributors

I am limiting contributors to keen people I may know of, or have connected with before. I am open to making it open to a wider audience so if you’re interested in contributing, send me an email at tsogn.anwar@gmail.com.

Two rules:

  1. Don’t state the obvious. E.g. things now commonly known.
  2. Don’t repeat past entries (if you can help it).
