We’re talking songwriters and no list of rap’s impact on songwriting would be complete without Tupac. Pac’s music documented the human condition better than anyone at the time and probably better than anyone now. He conveyed joy, sadness, anger, despair, love, and hatred, sometimes in the same verse. And that takes skill.

Of this list, I think Pac has the highest chance of making it. Once you look at these cross genre platforms, only the folks who really transcended Hip-Hop are going to even have a chance to make it. Pac was one of those people. His impact spans genres and generations, and hopefully it will be recognized.
