Before the National Anthem, WWE Hall of Famer “Hacksaw” Jim Duggan threw a first pitch to the enjoyment of numerous fans with his famous “Hooooooo!” chant.

One of the most touching events of the night was the singing of the “Star-Spangled Banner”. Freddy Davidson performed a beautiful rendition of the National Anthem.

Davidson became a viral sensation when it was discovered that he greets every veteran or active service member at the Chardon Walmart with the National Anthem. Davidson stands from his wheelchair and salutes those who have fought for our country. Video of his anthem is below.

During the game, Duggan met with hundreds of fans to sign autographs, take photos and talk wrestling. In the interview with the media, Duggan spoke about the importance of the fans and how these appearances are all about the fans.
