Dyah and the Small Creatures Saved the Planet
Once upon a time, in a faraway galaxy and beyond the stars, there lived a Young Princess named Dyah. She lived alone on the surface of a Little Planet that was always covered in thick fog and dark skies. Despite her lonely life, Dyah never felt alone. She always talked to her planet, asking for advice and suggestions and also sharing stories and jokes.
One day, while Dyah was chatting with her Little Planet, she suddenly heard crying from underground. She was surprised because she had never heard such a sound before. It was not the voice of her beloved Little Planet. Curious, Dyah went underground to see what was happening.
There, she finally found the source of the weird sound. There was a group of Small Creatures crying frantically. The Small Creatures wore funny, colorful pointed hats with small glowing balls at the end. They were so tiny that they did not even reach Dyah’s knees. Puzzled by their sadness, Dyah approached them to ask what they were doing. The Small Creatures were surprised to see Dyah, who seemed like a giant creature to them. Anyhow, their broken hearts made them tell Dyah the heart-wrenching reason behind their tears. Their planet had been destroyed and taken over by an Evil Force from beyond the galaxy! They had managed to escape and were stranded on Dyah’s Little Planet a few days ago. Now, they feared the unfamiliar surroundings and worried about their survival. They were sad and angry and wanted to take back their home. Dyah felt sorry for them and decided to help. She secretly felt happy because she had made new friends. Besides, to her, her alien guests were so cute that she absolutely wanted to befriend them.
Dyah asked her Little Planet for help. With the help of her Little Planet, Dyah gathered resources to build a new living environment for the Small Creatures. She helped them make shields and weapons to protect their planet from the Evil Force. When everything was ready, Dyah and the Small Creatures prepared to go to their own planet. Before they left, Dyah was given a peony flower by her Little Planet. The Small Creatures were also given a baby’s breath flower each. The Little Planet entrusted its love and prayer in those flowers to protect Dyah and its brave guests.
They had to travel through hundreds of stars to reach the Small Creatures’ planet. Their journey was quite challenging because of the distance. Sometimes, passing comets offered them a ride if they were going in the same direction. From those comets, Dyah and the Small Creatures heard strange stories from all corners of the galaxy.
After hundreds of stars and dozens of comets, they finally arrived at the Small Creatures’ planet. They immediately engaged in a fierce battle with the Evil Force to drive it away and take back their planet. Because their homemade weapons had no effect, Dyah tried to use the peony flower from her beloved Little Planet as a weapon. Although the attack using the peony flower managed to push the Evil Force back, it was stronger than they thought! Dyah and the Small Creatures began to feel hopeless.
Suddenly, one of the Small Creatures remembered a story about the Little Stars who joined forces to defeat the Giant Black Hole. An idea came to her mind to combine the power of baby’s breath flowers given by Dyah’s Little Planet with the power of peony flower owned by Dyah. The effect was extraordinary! When the Evil Force counterattacked using the bouquet of baby’s breath and peony flowers, it instantly lost its power! Then, it was thrown to the farthest end of the galaxy! Dyah and the Small Creatures restored peace to their planet! Hooray!
Afterwards, they all worked together to fix the homes of the Small Creatures using the resources they brought. Because everyone helped each other, the hard work took little time. The destroyed buildings and fallen trees were restored to their original state. After finishing, Dyah suggested planting peony and baby’s breath flowers that had helped them regain peace on the planet. When all the flower stems were planted, the entire planet’s surface instantly turned into a beautiful garden! As far as the eye could see, there were colorful and fragrant flowers. Peonies, baby’s breath, camellias, moss phlox, poppies, agapanthus, bluebells, and many more! Dyah and the Small Creatures cheered happily. Dyah picked a peony flower near her feet to smell its fragrance. Straightway, Little Planet sent its clouds and mist to pick up Dyah and take her back home. In an instant, Dyah returned to her beloved Little Planet.
That was the story of Dyah, who on her journey to help protect the planet of her new friends, learned that true courage and strength come from the love and care we have for others and the nature around us. Dyah and the Small Creatures’ struggle may not be over yet. While working together to repair the Small Creatures’ homes, they promised to learn more about ways to protect their planets from future threats.
This story reminds us of how important it is to take care of our planet and be mindful of other creatures who share this planet with us. Like Dyah (who cared and took real action to help the Small Creatures she had just met) and Little Planet (which provided resources and love for the people it cared for), we can all do something to protect this planet and all creatures within it.
