Adoption is the Better Option
I am proud to announce that me and one of my oldest childhood friend are putting a fundraiser together! We are have both been lifelong dog-lovers so our personalities just work well together when coming up with this fundraiser. We are supporting a local shelter by the name of TAPS No Kill Animal Shelter. They do great work for all pets and always have adoptions, seems like every day. We love what they do and want them to keep doing it. Of course a shelter like this needs to have donations to keep all the pets they do have and help find foster families. Plus all the supplies, food, toys, leashes, workers, and even their facility, have to be paid for. We are so excited to be doing this for TAPS and want to bring the community together to help show that adoption is the better option.
We are hoping to get a lot of dogs and people involved. I know it will be stressful in the coming week and I will need to be on top of planning. Kenze and I will be looking for local donations from veterinaries and pet stores to see if they would like to be apart of the fundraiser. The biggest challenage will be getting people to bring their dogs out. We have started a Facebook event in hope that more people will see our fundraiser. Many have said they are going to be there but we need to keep expanding our guest list to get the highest amount of donations for the shelter!
I hope this fundraiser ends up to be a lot of fun! I will keep updates on how it is going with the stress of the week. I would love for this to be fun for your dog and you!
