What brought me here …
is not the way I want to start this blog. I am here because of a passion of my own doing was encouraged by the people with which I surround my self. My wife, colleagues, and friends have helped shaped the direction I want to go.
I am a teacher. I am a student. Full-time/Double-time if you will. I have studied Physics, taught for several years, and returned to study engineering methods. (I see where physicists and engineers differ; which side do I choose? I’ll acknowledge the necessity for both.) I plan to leave the most populated profession, then plan to enter the second most populated profession.
To keep this first post brief but fulfilling, I will end on this: Fluid Mechanics course with Prof Ferrar will sharpen what I know so I can be more applicable to the aerospace and jet engine industry. A few months ago, I attended an ASME event by the Engineers Club of Philadelphia in front of an executive from Pratt and Whitney; my current goal is to be a member of the Pratt and Whitney team at a seemingly phenomenal workplace.
