PROFESSIONAL BLOG REVIEW
It’s Friday again, which means it is time for another post. This time, it is another blog review. Last time, we looked at Casey Neistat and his daily video blog on YouTube. Since the last post was about sneakers, this one will be too.
If you didn’t know this already, I love sneakers. I have more than the average college student should. But is that going to stop me from buying more? No.
This blog review is about a site that I use frequently. It is a little place called https://sneakernews.com/ . This is a blog where one would go to read news about sneakers. Self explanitory, right?
On this website, they have videos of early looks at upcoming, unreleased sneakers. They also have articles attached with the video describing the materials of the shoe, the history of the shoe (it is cool to see how a shoe came to be), when the shoe is releasing, and how much the shoe will cost. If any changes or is updated as the release date approaches, this website will have that information. Sometimes a shoe will release at a later date, and this website will have that information. The articles also include what stores one can go and buy the shoe, as well as an extensive amount of pictures of the shoe.
At the top of the home page, there are 5 tabs: ‘News’, ‘Where to Buy’, ‘YouTube’, ‘Jordan Releases 2019', and ‘Yeezy Release Dates’. I think that it is cool that they have their YouTube account linked to their website so one if one wanted to see the shoe “unboxed” (where the open the shoe box and take it out of the box) and see a in-hand look, rather than just released pictures online.
A majority of the articles written on this blog are written by Michael Le. the rest of them, funny enough, are written by Sneaker News.
Overall, I find this website very helpful if I want to find more information about a new, upcoming shoe. It tells me more than I would want to know about a shoe, and it can send me to their youtube page to watch a video about the shoe. I also love Jordans, and to know that there is a whole page dedicated to Jordan release dates is something I really like.
If you like shoes, maybe go give this website a gander. I think you’ll find it pretty useful.
