Tech-talk Show

Description

Currently there’re many events, training courses, MOOC websites … that help people/dev to learn new skills. But somehow they’re lacking of practical session, interactive time between people who sharing same interest.

After months of practicing, My friend and I have organized dozen of tech-talk meetups (We did it weekly). Where we could come to wherever we want to talk about technologies, life, leadership ..etc.. stuff that we’re both interested in.

Weekly we pick one to be a presenter, other one to be a secretary. Presenter will have to prepare about topics (it could be something that he already mastered, or new thing that we both want to learn, or just something is new or interesting) and secretary will edit our discussion then publish to our Medium publication.

By doing that, we found fun in sharing, fun in learning new things, fun in interacting with other and heard about their opinion. It helped us improving ourself from topics that we discussed.

So from that, I think the idea about building a system that allows set up local groups with 2–3 (no more) people who sharing same interests and commitment to contribute every week is necessary at this time when it’s hard to find a good content to talk about and good people to share
together.

a system that allows set up local groups with 2–3 (no more) people who sharing same interests and commitment to contribute every week

So why don’t we build up our good content and made us be a good people, then we share our story to the world ?

Beneficiary

  • People who want to learn more, want to be better but struggling a good way to do that.
  • People who want to helping others, want to sharing their knowledge with junior ones.
  • People who play nice: Sharing to be shared!

Sharing to be shared

Company Activities

  • Finding the most suitable time for meetups that’s convenient to team.
  • If people don’t commit well, the group will be broken soon.
  • Talking to bosses about implement model inside company is hard. Sadly, bosses don’t want people talk about others topic than company works.
