Let me start by saying that this concept is mainly made for FsuAtl,but i linked my channel as well if you want to check it out!
OK!So i found out that one of my favorite pokémons from the anime is missing from pokémon go!With generation 2 already here we were supposed to have Delibird here as well!Or that’s what we were thinking!
Delibird is a Christmas themed pokémon!He first appeared in the episode “Delibird’s dilema” in wich he was owned by the joy bringing Santa Claus himself! His pokédex entry describes Delibird as a Generous pokémon that shares the food kept inside his tail with other pokémons!
So I tought ,isn’t it obvious why Niantic skipped this little generous dude?When i first saw that he was missing I instantly tought about a Christmas event,and,this is what I was able to come up with:
As you can see,Delibird’s special feature is sharing(I made this so he can be a little diffrent then the other pokémons,but,lore friendly as well!). In exchange of the delibird candies,he gains rare candies,wich you can use to feed other pokemons!As you can see Delibird is displayed as a normal pokémon!
So here we have a add that will pop-up when you open the game,it announces the winter event!(I looked up and i found out that niantic called the event “Winter Holiday event”so i made that as well). So here are the features that come with the Christmas event
1.- A Christmas gift guaranteed on the Christmas eve! That means that you will recive a gift in the Christmas morning!We will talk more about the gift later on
2.- A new joy bringing pokémon with increased catch rate at night! Ok..so,You are going to ask me why did i wrote increased catch rates at night!The pokemon Delibird (as Santa Claus) delivers his gifts at night for the trainers to find them in the morning!You can bassicaly catch him while he is delivering gifts!I think this feature is amazing beacouse it makes the whole experience emersive!
