Pick a Number Between poor and Sustainable

After reading this chapter I became conflicted with my own ideals in compensation. Those that revolutionized a field deserve to be paid more than those that dwell in it, but when it gets to the point that the individual cannot spend it all, what is the point of paying them. If I have too much cash on me and was severed by a waiter or bartender I leave them a tip, usually the last amount of cash I have. I do this not because I am too wealthy, but because I feel that these extra dollars could be better used by someone else immediately instead of me tossing them in a change. When it comes to small increases in salary, that is not to say that too little of an increase in pay is not worth getting if I do not need it. I would ask that I am paid enough to cover my all of my bills, quantitative, and some extra for my entertainment, qualitative. Who knows how bored I will be next week, or how much I am willing pay to be entertained. If I am unhappy am I sustained emotionally? Rich people buy expensive things and poor people buy cheap things. When ever a poor person gets a raise, they ‘treat’ themselves. We all have expensive tastes, but we know our budget. Take away our budget, we all will run wild.
