Tug53692’s Introduction
Hello, this is my very first blog post I have ever written, and do not really know how to start this off. I am a Junior Civil Engineering major at Temple University. This post is being created to introduce myself, while informing others how I came to be enrolled in Mechanics of Fluids this Fall. Throughout high school, I never knew entirely what I wanted to do for a living, and it became more and more stressful trying to find myself. One day, during my senior year, I was at a family gathering, listening to my relatives speak about their current jobs. My cousin-in-law brought up how he works for a land development company called Bohler Engineering. As I listened to more and more of his job duties and responsibilities, I became intrigued. After the conversation ended, we talked a little more, and I ended up shadowing him and his coworkers a few months later. Although I didn’t know much about what they were doing, it seemed so cool. I immediately applied and was accepted into Temple University and the University of Delaware, but chose Temple. Speeding up to present time, I am still a civil engineering major and taking Mechanics of Fluids because I need it to graduate.
I will be posting once a week, so thank you to everyone who reads these and I hope you enjoy!
