If an opportunity to leave the country shows up and it’s not an MBA, I think you should still consider it. International exposures are a lot of knowledge in themselves. I have not traveled far myself, only a few African countries, but I can tell you it’s worth it. From there, you most likely will be able to afford an MBA.
Having said that, I’ll suggest two options:
- http://atlascorps.org/ In it’s own words, it“ …is an international network of nonprofit leaders and organizations that promotes innovation, cooperation, and solutions to address the world’s 21st century challenges.” If you are selected, your will be able to travel to the US or some neighbouring countries for 12–18 months (funded).
- I don’t know your educational background, but if you are into something IT, you could consider doing an M.Sc. in Europe (Estonia precisely) for free. Check out https://estonia.dreamapply.com/. I think they have free tuition for other courses too, but I haven’t taken the time to check that. You can look it up.
Like I said, you can always do your MBA, but it’s not a bad idea if your first step is leaving the country.
