Why would you turn your dream down?
You must have seen all those luxury Instagram accounts, celebrating the 1% lifestyle. All the cars, cash, yachts and pretty girls. It all seems so unreal to the rest of us..
What do they have that we don’t? Besides all the obvious from the pictures, living the dream. You want to know the truth?
NOTHING.
All of them are just ordinary people. And by ordinary people I mean you, me, your neighbor, everyone.. But you know what these people who live the 1% lifestyle have in common?
All of them have EXTRAORDINARY work ethic. There is no such thing as luck. (Well, hitting big on the lottery is another thing.) Normal people just don’t see the work that goes behind the scenes at the long nights and early mornings. They only see the wins and think it must be because of luck or some other excuse everyone keeps feeding themselves.
Imagine an iceberg floating in the icy ocean. Got that image on your head? Good. Now, the top part of the iceberg is all the success, cars and yachts and whatnot, all the 1% lifestyle. You see it and go “Daaaaamn I want that.”
But, do you really?
Now, take a look under the surface. Dive in. Feel the cold, clear waters. There is a MASSIVE chunk of ice. Guess what that represents? Yeah, you are looking at all the DEDICATION, SACRIFICES, FAILURES, RISKS, HABITS, FEAR…

And the list goes on and on. It’s a daunting sight, one that you could have sleepless nights over it.
Would you still do it? Take a hold of your life and start pursuing your dream while floating in the sea, beholding the sight of what you must do in order to succeed?
Would you leave your comfort zone?
Why not? What are you so afraid? You only have this life and everyone on this Earth is granted with only so much time. It’s not like it is going to kill you to test new things. Sure, you could get a little uncomfortable but hey, that’s the way it is.
Let me be clear, you will FAIL. But that does not mean that you can not succeed. Failure is inevitable. Through failure you will grow and learn which will eventually lead to your success in anything you choose to pursue.
Fail, fail again, again and again. Learn to fail better and success will come.
Now go do your thing, start that path towards the dream of yours.
