I read one of your other pieces about how we can’t just abandon the rule of law, but how do we get our “representatives” back in line with our interests? Isn’t it pretty much like “House of Cards?” Our well-meaning elected representative gets there and finds out the whip has other plans if they ever want to get elected again?

I think the feeling we have no power over our government is what fuels the Trumps of the world.
