What do you think? Would you be willing to consider doing that?
It’s slightly arrogant to think that because people disagree with something, that they haven’t already done so and simply decided differently
Well, we could start by thinking, “Hey, if so many blacks and people of colour are saying the same thing, hundreds and thousands of them, then maybe I’m missing something in how I am perceiving things. Maybe I need to try to see things from their point of view. How can I start to do that?”
Well first of all, this is a argumentum ad populum fallacy. Second, you must realize that this argument goes both ways. If white people need to give credence to what hundreds and thousands of black people are saying, then don’t black people similarly need to give credence to what millions of white people are saying?
