I have this,

I have that,

Both are things.

Things I want to let

Go of.

I know they and them,

Both are people.

They I want to keep,

Them I want to runaway

From – forever.

I have these and those.

Both are situations.

I don’t want these,

I’d make do with those.

I have mine and me.

I don’t know what is mine

And I don’t know me.

So if poetry

Can sing,

Let these words

Make more meaning

Than the song

My heart whispers.

“Agoo” and “byebye”

To what my heart

Silently wishes.
