Destiny Run.

It struck the hour of the absence of the sun.

Without anything brought to sight,

Eyes blinded by the midnight gun,

Legs hastened as a result of fright,

Moon dances; Mysterious fun.

The cold sneaking silence of the night.

My heart beat its own heartbeat.

Shook by noisy silence,

My entire being yelling retreat.

Objects zoomed past my eye’s lenses,

My feet beat defeat.

Alive with death’s sentence.

Then i find myself lost,

Totally hidden from the sun.

At the expense of life’s cost,

Fleeing from the midnight gun.

Holding on to what I cherish most

At the crossroads of my destiny run.
