Jetpack Compose provides a declarative way of building UI components using Kotlin, simplifying the development process and making it more efficient.
Unlike the traditional Android UI toolkit, Jetpack Compose allows developers to build UI components without XML or the need for separate layout files which are easy to read, maintain, and test. It uses a functional programming model that enables developers to create reusable components that can be easily composed together to form a complete UI.
In this article, we will explore how to start building UI components using Jetpack Compose.

Creating Splash Screen for your application.

Splash Screen

The splash screen is an important part of the user experience as it is the first thing users see when they launch your app. Here are some best practices for designing and implementing a splash screen.

  1. Keep it Simple, clean, and minimalistic. Avoid overloading it with too much information or too many graphics.
  2. The splash screen is a great opportunity to showcase your brand. Use your brand colors, logo, and typography to create a strong visual impact.
  3. Users don’t like waiting, so keep your splash screen short and to the point. As a general rule of thumb, a splash screen should not take more than 3–4 seconds to load.
