Hello! My name is Tania Daesi Velazquez. I am 16 years old and I was born on February 28, 2000. I have a younger brother named Marco, they call him frijol (bean in spanish). I have lived in Illinois since the day I was born. I have a lot of family in Mexico, so whenever we can we go and visit them family over. The last time I went was winter break 2015. I don’t really do much but I like hanging out with friends, reading, and watching movies. During the summer I worked as a telemarketer. It was horrible.

This really relaxing and when ever I hear it puts me in a good mood. It also reminds me of 8th grade summer. A bonfire with all my friends and this song being played on a ukulele.

9pm on a Thursday I’m relaxing and watching some Netflix.

Barack Obama is a person that really inspires me because he’s a man that has gone very far in life. He didn’t stop until he was president of the USA.

This picture represents traveling. A goal of mine is to travel to different places and landmarks when I grow up. It’s something I’ve wanted since I was little.

This picture makes me think of America as a strong country. A place in which people stick together in times of crisis. WW2 and 9/11 would be examples of the country coming together to help each other out.

We live in a very technological era. I think America is pretty big on keeping up to date with it too, so when I think America I think technology.

A single golf clap? Or a long standing ovation?

By clapping more or less, you can signal to us which stories really stand out.
