Below is a list of common TV problems and solutions that worked for us under certain circumstances. I suggest trying these simple solutions before calling any TV repair service (Sony TV repair service center). Replacement or repair costs can save you a lot of money and get your TV back up and running quickly.

· Strange colors and weird flesh tones:

New TVs also have this problem, where colors and Flesh tones are all wrong. This is most likely because the settings for the showroom environment are set. In the Picture menu, you can adjust the mode to natural. You can manually set contrast, color, and brightness, or you can reset the white balance and color space adjustments by default.

· Internet will not connect:

Newer TVs and Smart TVs come with internet connectivity via wired or wireless connection. However, this feature does not always work correctly. If you change your Internet provider, install the TV, have a server problem or have a power outage, you may have trouble connecting.

As soon as you set up the TV, the technician is there — try to connect it to the Internet. If you have a problem this way or you don’t know how to connect it, you can get your questions answered right away. If it works for a while and then suddenly stops, you can connect the TV to the router via Ethernet and install the updates before trying again. If nothing works, contact your TV manufacturer.

· Occasional Picture Pixelation:

If the image on your TV is sometimes squared and the movement is fast, it can sometimes freeze. You may wonder whether the error is with a TV or cable connection. It could be either or both.

If there is a problem due to a weak signal, the amplifier can be used to strengthen it. If there is a cable problem, you can get a technician to look at it and he will have to install an inline amplifier.

· White Outlines:

When individuals or objects have artificial white edges, there may be two possibilities — the sharpness of your TV is set too high or your television uses some kind of edge-enhancing processing technology.

In Settings, go to the Image menu. Adjust the sharpness manually until the outline disappears. If edge-enhancement is allowed, you can try and disable it through the service menu.

· A patch of different color displays towards the screen:

This usually means that the magnets in the speakers are very close to the TV set. Move the auxiliary speakers slightly away from the set and check if this solves the problem. Your TV is an investment, so if there is any flaw in what you don’t seem to be solving — it’s always a good idea to call an expert.
