An similar approach I have seen is asking the other person to invalidate what I say is true. An example would be that if I say “the back button should go to the homepage” you should be the owner of the experiments that try to invalidate that that is the correct behaviour. An alternative would be if you said “the back button should be blue” I would be responsible for validating whether the blue button achieved what we wanted or not.

I’ve seen a similar ideas discussed in “Playing to Win” although at a different level.

I’d love to know if you think that would have worked for you in this situation.
