It may be helpful to watch James Damore’s interview because it sounds as if he was in situations where lone-wolf programming was happening and he was proposing more pair programming across genders, to make coding more female-friendly.

When all his graphs and citations are included, it becomes clearer that he was trying to make the case for understanding people as individuals rather than according to group identities. This is consistent with his self-identification as a libertarian.

Unfortunately, the problem with the evolutionary psychology he cites is that there are issues wrt the unreliability of probability and statistics in both biology and in psychology.
