Twake Dev Talks #1
Today, we are very happy to release our first Dev Talks. We hope that this will be the first of many, and that you will enjoy it.This first edition focuses on different issues that users report to us. We will discuss it and answer these questions, but not only that! Indeed, we will talk about some new features that will be coming soon, but also about various improvements made in the recent updates. So, without further ado, let’s start by answering your questions!
Community Questions and Answers
WebDAV compatibility [Planned]
Some of our users are interested in synchronizing Google Drive files with a local file system. We have been discussing this possibility for several months and we plan to quickly integrate this feature. In this way, we want to improve our ability to integrate with existing systems. That is why we are very interested in the WebDAV protocol, which could make these improvements possible. We are currently in the process of thinking about this, but this subject is one of our priorities and we will come back to our users as soon as we implement this feature.
User profiles [Considered]
Currently we do not allow the display of details about the users of a group, such as their email address, position and other information. Being able to offer a complete user profile is a more than interesting feature, as it would allow new interactions. That’s why we keep this feature to one side because others are more important, but it will be integrated as soon as possible in the coming months.
Trello Import [Planned]
We had several requests about the integration of Trello sheets on the Twake Tasks tool. We are currently working on this feature, which may be available very soon.
Email notification settings [Done]
Until now, it was possible to manage your device notifications and choose whether or not you want to receive notifications on the mobile application; and also all notifications by email.
We have recently improved our e-mail notification system. Indeed, it is now possible to configure these notifications in “Account settings” then “Notifications” by choosing several options.
German translation [Done]
Recently, new German users have joined Twake, and we welcome them! That’s why we officially launched a German version of Twake. Wir leben sie!
Improved links between applications [Done]
We want to improve the links between our applications, to make them even more efficient. To do this, we have recently integrated a new link system that allows you to link any object (event, file, task, call) with another.
In the coming weeks, we would like to automate some links, such as creating events for tasks; and allow discussion around some objects in the form of a comment space that would also be directly accessible from Messages.
We will introduce this new feature in a future Dev Talks.
Non-exhaustive list of bugs fixed on Twake. If you notice any bugs on Twake, feel free to let us know and we will try to fix them as soon as possible!

Fixed: The web application and Windows, Mac and Linux versions were not always very fast. We have improved the speed of the application by a factor of 30, and we are still trying to reduce RAM and CPU usages.
