Connected Planning: Experiencing HUB17

HUB17 was an event for the books. Each year Anaplan hosts this gathering to bring together partners, employees, existing clients and potential clients. The purpose: to connect and motivate the Anaplan community while expanding the Anaplan knowledge base.
The week kicked off with an expert training course where clients took a deeper dive into the planning tool’s vast potential. The conference continued with full steam as Anaplan CEO, Frank Calderoni, spoke to the bright future of Anaplan and the growing Anaplan user base. Following this the community was empowered by keynote speaker, Dr. Mae Jemison, as she shared her fascinating experiences as the first African-American woman in space.
The rest of Hub17 was composed of a plethora of networking, powerful speeches, and over 125 breakout sessions led by Anaplan professionals. A highlight was the expo room constantly bustling with hungry business professionals, eager to share their own experiences and speak with others about how to improve and expand the power of their Anaplan implementations. Twelve’s booth in the expo hall was a staple of invaluable conversation and connecting.
Joining in on the 3 days of festivities were several members of the Twelve Team who had the opportunity to make the cross-country trek to San Francisco. The excitement was evident as we reconnected with many of our clients and met with potential new users eager to begin on their Anaplan journey. Twelve was humbled to earn the Award for Regional Excellence where we celebrated the work of our wonderful team and recognition by the Anaplan organization as a 2016 top performer. The greatest highlight of all, however, was seeing our clients come together as a team — filling the event with new ideas, unique insight, and powerful visions for the future. It was so fun to see all of our clients networking and sharing their ideas and experiences with each other at the cocktail reception that we hosted at the hotel.
