To spread the love this Valentine’s Day Twelve reached out to schools that we have donated to on behalf of our clients, through our Empowering Leaders Program, and followed-up on their use of our donations.

At Twelve we want to empower our clients to aid in the development of our future leaders: children. With technology at the forefront of our company, we know that it has a profound impact on our business. We want to share this knowledge with children, by enabling them to explore and learn through technology. Our Empowering Leaders Program is designed to provide clients an opportunity to select a school for Twelve to donate $1,000 on their behalf. Our only request for the donation is that the school uses the funds to improve technology resources for their students.

We reconnected with several schools outside of Chicago: Henry Winkelman Elementary School, Field Middle School, and Our Lady Perpetual Help School. Here is how these schools have used our donations…

The District 31 Education Foundation, in the West Northfields School District outside of Chicago, split up our donation to support their STEM initiative at Field Middle School and Makers’ Space at Henry Winkelman Elementary. “We are fortunate to have generous personal and business donors like Twelve Consulting who place value on technology and its ability to empower our children to be future leaders. Rest assured your donation will help the children of District 31 nurture and grow their creativity, problem solving and technology skills” (Foster Elliott).

The Henry Winkelman Elementary School’s donation went towards the creation of a Makers’ Space; a space dedicated to promote creative building and experimentation.Through the District 31 Education Foundation, the Field Middle School used the donation towards their STEM lab and 3D printers.

In addition, we donated to Our Lady Perpetual Help School in Glenview, IL. They put their donation towards a 3D printer.

We are incredibly excited about the impact that the Empowering Leaders Program has had and we are excited to see what this year brings. Since 2014, we have donated $20,000 to schools across the nation. We hope to double that in 2017. The ability to spread our love and connect with schools nationwide is at the heart of why we strive to empower our clients and future leaders.
