Spreading myself thick or thin?

For the longest time, I had a rule whereby I would only work on two or three projects at a time. I felt that this gave me the focus and resolve I would need to get them done, and to this point has been fairly successful in my opinion.

Spreading it thin!

That said, I’ve decided that its time for a switch. Somehow I’ve incepted the idea into my head that I’d be better off exploring every option that jumps into my head, whether it be a time waste or not. What would the outcome be if I just constantly create. Would I have 50 unfinished projects, will the quality suffer? Regardless, I’m going to give it a shot, and see where it lands.

One big reason for the change, is a kind of stagnation I’ve started to feel when I get snagged behind an idea that I can’t quite solve, or finish at the time. I liken it to having a large freelance project on the go, which consumes your time… technically you could ignore it and do other things, but then you feel a guilt, knowing where your time is meant to be assigned. By doing a lot of things at once, I’m hoping to overcome that feeling, and keep a constant stream of creation going.

And there we have it. Stay tuned for more.
