How to add a game or Game Box Art to your Twitch directory

Twitch adds games based on their inclusion in the Giant Bomb, a user-driven wiki community that specializes in video game content. Twitch regularly syncs its catalog with the Giant Bomb database to add the latest games once the Giant Bomb staff approves them.

Keep in mind the following :

  1. Only posts that are categorized as games will be imported to Twitch.
  2. The plug is not enough. A stub page is any page in a game with the following content: “This wiki page is a stub. Click the “Edit” button above to add to this article.
  3. Added games will be imported within 24 hours.

Adding and editing images GAME BOX ART

Missing game box images can be submitted by community members or directly managed by the game owner or the actual representative of the game publisher/producer.

Requirements — To qualify for use on Twitch, images must:

  • Be 600x800 pixels in size
  • Formatted in .jpg format less than 1MB
  • Not contain the developer’s logo, platform logo, website URL, game rating (such as ESRB or PEGI), or any kind of advertising. Use the official cover!
  • Include the name of the game. Images containing only the game logo will not be accepted.
  • Have a high resolution. Pixelated images will not pass validation unless they are part of the brand or design of the game.
  • Comply with community guidelines and terms of service. An image that violates these rules will not be approved.
