Thank you to all of those who have contributed to the Daily Bit. At this point, I am nearly out of my 2014 financial hole. Now, about those pesky ongoing expenses…

Between software licenses, accounting & legal, and intern pay, the Daily Bit costs about $500 / month to run. Your support is essential to keeping the lights on and the keystrokes humming. I’d like to thank the top benefactors of the Bit in the past year (ranked by exec commitments):

Top Ten: 1) Bitnet, 2) Coinbase, 3) Circle, 4) Gyft, 5) Xapo, 6) BitGo, 7) ChangeTip, 8) Elliptic, 9) CoinVault, 10) Blockchain

Additional corporate and individual donations are appreciated (if you’d like to hit the top 10 list): 18Za7SmHRxbmkEj5QLeSqnYWGm8zjsWf7y

Today, I want to talk about <s>America Works</s> bitcoin jobs. There are tons of opportunities around the industry these days, especially with venture capital investments at record highs almost every single quarter, and interest in blockchain applications accelerating now that bitcoin’s core infrastructure is more reliable and robust.

As I alluded to last week, I will be posting jobs for *funded* startups below-the-fold from now on. In general, I’ll keep each job post up for a month. You will either need to pay for each monthly posting ($250/month for executive “above-the-fold” roles or $100/month for junior roles) or remind me you want the posting refreshed (if you’re a DCG company).

Let’s kickstart this refresh with a few killer job opportunities…

http://www.coindesk.com/chainalysis-ceo-denies-launching-sybil-attack-on-bitcoin-network/
Chainalysis, a compliance startup, was forced to defend itself following allegations that its surveillance tactics had disrupted services and threatened the privacy of bitcoin users. The Swiss-based company created 250 ‘false’ bitcoin nodes to harvest information about transactions, but the firm now claims these nodes have been shut down. http://techcrunch.com/2015/03/15/secure-messaging-app-wiper-adds-bitcoin-support-gets-yanked-in-china/
Wiper, a chat application designed to provide users with control over their sent and received messages, has recently rolled out a tool that allows individuals to send bitcoin to others inside the app’s main chat interface.
