Fermentors

A hydrometer is basically made up of glass with a narrow stem and weighted bottom. It is designed to float in water, it floats in denser liquid and sinks in clear water.

Plugs
During fermentation certain gasses are produced which are not required and therefore plugs or caps over the fermentor is required which let these gasses to move out. Moreover, it’s important to stop the outside air entering into the container, air plugs are designed to do this work precisely.
Racking hoses
At certain times it is required to shift the wine from one container to other. For this siphoning is used, siphoning is basically a process in which one container is placed above the other and then the liquid is moved from the higher container to the lower through a siphon set up.
