I have a strong desire for a candidate who is a conservative. But this is more foundational than mere policy differences right now. More important are the virtue of the individual who would serve as our president, as our face to the world, and their understanding of limited government — which is that we believe in the universal dignity of our people and in their inalienable rights.
Two Kinds of Voting, Two Kinds of Disruption, and Two Kinds of Unrighteousness

I am a Christian. I am a conservative. I am pro-life. I am a “Heritage Foundation alum.” I support the U.S. Constitution, the Bill of Rights, and the other Amendments. I believe that America can be the “shining city on the hill,” even if our Federal and State policies are less than ideal.
All of this is to say, in light of Hon. Ben Sasse, that the only honest candidate in the U.S. Presidential race is Gary Johnson of the Libertarian Party. As Jeb Bush noted in a recent interview, we do not exist in a binary political system and do not have to vote GOP or DNC. Often, it is necessary to support an honest person even if you have true disagreements with some of their positions.
