Howdy y’all, I’m Rythian. Today, I’m going to be discussing the recent acquisition of Activision Blizzard with Xbox and what I think is both good and bad from this. I will not be going into extreme depth but just enough to get my point across as well, Twitter, sorry, X only allows you to post so much. Please, enjoy!

The start of the something new.

Xbox has had a rough few years. Between their constant struggles in Asian markets, their grip loosening on the American and European markets. What can they do? They’ve tried backwards compatibility, created the amazing value known as Xbox Game Pass, acquired various developers and now 4 publishers between Bethesda, Blizzard, King, and Activision. It’s time they started new, with a slew of first party games across 5 publishers when you factor in Xbox Game Studios. We’re about to enter the new Golden Age of Xbox.

Old is the new… well, new.

The owners of the Transformer’s IP, Hasbro. has been more than willing to allow backwards compatibility on the Xbox 360 Transformers games which Activision had once published, something we all hope comes true with the new acquisition. Gamers from surprisingly all sides are rallying for even more Call of Duty titles coming to Xbox as well including the classic Call of Duty: Finest Hour…
