This has some truth and it is hurting our cause. And it is not always click bait. It is often well meaning people who are blinded to nuance.

That said, mainstream established journalism is not a cure. One established journalist told us all about chair throwing and violence in Nevada that never happened.

We also learned from leaked DNC emails how cozy and even collaborative the mainstream media has, at times, been with the DNC’s efforts to promote Hillary.

This article also assumes that mainstream media does not engage in click baiting. That is sadly not true.

And it is true that the mainstream ignored or filters certain things. That does not mean we should believe any counter narrative that comes along, but it does mean we should be critically examining mainstream as well.
