Question for the other Product Managers out there — how do you go about shaping you Minimum Desired Product without being viewed as a dictator?

Often our team deploys a mix of design thinking exercises to collaboratively define possible feature sets, but ultimately the PM (me) has to make decisive decisions that move the product forward. This can contribute to perceptions that the process is subjective.
