What’s up, let’s talk about how to install python, blogged by a technical non-developer. I can dabble in code, have since I was a child, but now I want to build my first application — I did my due diligence, and found python is the route to go. I’m not affiliated to any links I’m adding, more so- I’m stepping ahead of you and googling through the endless amount of SEO’ed blog posts, and trying to find the right information, without being funneled into dookie.

There will be two versions.

How to install python on a mac and how to install python on a windows pc.

Then we will work through the use case explained below.

Before we start, here’s what I know about programming.

Learning a new programming language is not easy.

Learning a new programming language is not hard.

Learning a new programming language is more fun with a project in mind.

What would you like to do? Start there, then google the shit out of it.

Today, I’m going to step through “how to install python” and talk about learning a new programming language, which we should just keep it simple, it’s an entire language. A new language, like learning Spanish.

I found an install guide for python here. We will work through that together, in a user friendly way, in a way that makes sense for me, Tyler Garrett. And I imagine it will drive us to a lot of different things we need to install, scattered around the friggen internet.

I will consolidate everything here.
