Introduction

During my time here in Cozumel I’m looking forward to doing three major things. Exploring the Chichen Itza ruins, snorkeling in the reefs and hopefully doing some deep-sea fishing. The ruins can be found on a quick boat ride and a bus away, where we’ll be able to walk in the footsteps from the past. On the way back I heard we would be stopping at a Cenote for a refreshing swim. I have snorkeled many times but I hear that the colonies of reefs and swarms of fish are exceptional. Although I’m not for sure if deep sea fishing will be a possibility but I am a big fisher and would love to experience fishing in a different style and with extremely different fish.

In terms of merging myself in the culture, I am keen on talking to locals on the street and those running our excursions. Trying new food and wandering around sight seeing are more things that I’m looking forward to doing and experiencing.
