Prompt Engineering Interest Still Spiking

Prompt engineering is the process of fine tuning text input to a generative AI model to get better results. As generative AI gets more advanced, prompts get more complicated and result in users being less able to fully utilize them. This has left many people wondering how the way we interact with generative AI will change in the future.
Google Trend data shows the number of searches for a specific term. We saw a first spike in searches for prompt engineering mid January. After a slight decline it wasn’t clear if people were loosing interest or not. Now, in Mid February we are seeing another spike in searches, with more people than ever before typing ‘Prompt Engineering’ into Google.
