In my experience not ‘everyone’ is watching GoT. It may seem like it in your bubble, but in the real world a lot of people aren’t willing to shell out hard-earned $$ to get HBO. I know the numbers are staggering and that it is a phenomena, but there are other shows that have similar followings and success (TWD anyone??) Back when MASH was the biggest thing on television, folks said that was the last BIG network show, but after came several more. When Seinfeld ended, critics said that cable would reign and that blockbusters that everyone talked about would be done. This is the same argument. Nothing will change after GoT. There may be more shows, more diversity, but another hit will enthrall a great number of people. Hell, it might already be on air.
